schedule How do daily check-ins work?
You choose a time for your daily check-in. At that time, the app sends you a reminder. Tap "I'm Okay" to confirm you're fine — the timer resets for the next 24 hours and your emergency contacts are not notified. If you miss a check-in or tap "Need Help", your contacts get notified by push and email.
group How do I add emergency contacts?
In the app, go to your contacts or settings and add people by email. They'll receive a confirmation link — once they confirm, they're set as your trusted contacts and will receive notifications if you miss a check-in or request help.
notifications I'm not getting reminders. What should I do?
Make sure notifications are enabled for LifeVerify in your device settings. Check that the app is not in battery-saving or restricted background mode. If you've just set your check-in time, the first reminder will come at the next scheduled time.
emergency Is LifeVerify an emergency service?
No. LifeVerify is a daily wellness check-in tool. It notifies your chosen contacts if you miss a check-in or ask for help. In a life-threatening emergency, always call your local emergency number (e.g. 911, 112) first.
settings Can I change my check-in time or pause reminders?
Yes. In the app you can change your check-in time and adjust settings. You can also pause reminders for a period (e.g. while traveling) so you won't get reminders and your contacts won't be notified during the pause.
